OA to place emergency plan into effect

An emergency plan is about to be put into effect by national carrier Olympic Airways, OA<.> concerning a 20% cut in flights in comparison to last year, a temporary interruption in loss producing flights, and a decrease in flights with transatlantic destinations, in the wake of the September 11thevents in New York City and Washington which claimed the lives of thousands of people. Other airline companies such as Aegean, Cronus, and Axon Airline are also expected to move to similar cutbacks, as is Cypriot Airlines.
