World travel leaders convene in Cairo for 2006 MENA .travel Forum
Friday, June 16, 2006
More than 125 travel and tourism leaders from throughout the Middle East and North Africa will gather in Cairo, Egypt, to develop strategies for marketing the region’s growing tourism industry to the global online community as part of the Middle East North Africa .travel Forum.

The conference will be held at the Nile Hilton Hotel in Cairo, Egypt, June 22, 2006, and is presented by Tralliance Corporation, the .travel Registry, the Egyptian Tourist Authority, and EMECO TRAVEL, the premier travel organization and destination management corporation in Egypt.

Featuring presentations and discussion panels by world travel industry leaders, the Middle East North Africa .travel Forum will provide an arena for the region’s tourism ministries and travel professionals to further identify vast marketing possibilities and benefits of registering .travel domain names.

“With tourism in the Middle East and North Africa on the rise, .travel comes to us at a perfect time,” says Mr. Elhamy ElZayat, CEO & Chairman of EMECO TRAVEL and former Chairman of the Egyptian Tourism Federation. “We believe it is important that our colleagues are aware of all .travel has to offer to ensure that we can operate at a level equal to or above that of other regions in the world.”

“Tourism is a vital part of the Middle East and North Africa’s economy,” says Tralliance Corporation President and Chief Executive Ron Andruff, whose company serves as the worldwide Registry for .travel. “Providing national tourism ministries and the travel industry leadership with a clear understanding of the global .travel initiative firsthand is intended to serve as a catalyst to future success and profitability in the region. As the MENA nations register all of their tourism assets in the .travel Registry, they will enable travelers from anywhere in the world to find them in the most expeditious manner possible.”

How is the use of biofuels by the aviation industry going to affect the environment?

It will be a positive step towards fighting climate change, as the aviation industry will be able to reduce its C02 emissions.

It will be positive for the environment but it will cause huge problems in other industries such as the food industry, especially in food supply.

It will have a negative impact as the widespread planting and use of biofuel crops could threaten the natural ecosystems.

It will harm the environment as carbon savings from biofuels are negligible.
