CarTrawler sign exclusive deal with Final Quadrant Solutions
Wednesday, June 28, 2006
CarTrawler, the travel distribution technology company, headquartered in Dublin, Ireland has announced details of an exclusive deal that has been signed with Final Quadrant Solutions, a provider of travel technology solutions in Europe.

CarTrawlerwill provide their new OTA XML travel distribution technology which is built entirely on open systems (Linux and Java) enabling Final Quadrant Solutions to provide a car rental inventory system across every major car rental company in the world in over 8,000 destinations worldwide to their car rental reseller clients across Europe.

Speaking about this deal, Bobby Healy, CTO of CarTrawler said “We are extremely excited with this deal. Final Quadrant Solutions is a major provider of travel technology into European Car Hire Resellers. This deal is a ringing endorsement of how superior our OTA XML travel distribution technology is. The car hire industry is plagued by legacy technology such as Sabre and Amadeus. This technology bypasses legacy GDS technology ensuring access to a superior means to package a car rental product for their customers, while improving margins and providing a better customer service. The car rental industry is one of the most intensely competitive sector. We can now provide a turn-key solution for their clients”.
