Attracting weekenders in Dubai is profitable with Abu Dhabi residents first in the list

With all Dubai city hotels offering attractive summer rates until mid September, there has been a noted increase of weekend stays from residents based outside of Dubai with those coming from other Emirates like Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Fujairah to spend weekends in Dubai. Abu Dhabi seemed to be topping the list.
Mr. Sunil Marya, Vice President and General Manager for Marco Polo Hotel, exclaimed, “We’ve noticed there has been an increase demand for weekend stay coming from residents based outside of Dubai. The top one on the list is mainly Abu Dhabi followed by Al Ain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah. Local families and UAE expatriates who are not traveling this summer time are indeed taking mini-summer breaks and availing our excellent summer rate promotions.”
