NACTA`s new web sites give comprehensive information to travel agents

The National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents (NACTA) unveiled a new look and feel to its online presence. The 90-day rebuild, which was spearheaded by NACTA’s Web master, Andy Ogg, resulted in a completely rebuilt site design and navigational structure for each of its six Web sites.
The main site offers information on NACTA, including membership benefits and educational opportunities such as NACTA Seminars at Sea, conferences, the popular Home-Based Success Series and chapter events around the country; from it, viewers can easily click through to NACTA’s other sites.
“I am so thrilled to have this project completed and available to our members. Initial feedback from our members since the new sites have launched shows they are very happy with the outcome” said Joanie Ogg, president of NACTA and TravelSellers. “The new design consistency within the sites makes them not only attractive but also easy to navigate. Home-based travel professionals should bookmark NACTA.com on their desktops to learn more about the many benefits we offer.”
One of the association’s most-visited sites is the NACTA Host Agency Web site, featuring a full page of information about each of its host agency members’ programs and how to contact them.
“The Host Agency Web site is an invaluable tool for home-based travel professionals looking to align themselves with a qualified NACTA host agency. An optimized search engine lets viewers use both this site and the NACTA.com home page to find a host,” Ogg said.
Other redesigned sites are for NACTA`s members and suppliers, where Allied Supplier members are featured with in-depth information and links to their company sites. Still another new site is TravelSellers, a program for agency members of NACTA who qualify to obtain an IATAN numeric code.
NACTA membership is on the rise, and the increase in area chapters continue to encourage more home-based travel agents to join the leading professional association focused on serving their unique needs.
