TAP Dance 2007 to be Held in Palm Springs
Friday, September 15, 2006
Travel Alliance Partners (TAP) Dance 2007 will be held June 7-10 in Palm Springs, California at the Wyndham Hotel and Resort. Tap Dance is a “roll up your sleeves” and “find a better way to do business” networking event that brings the leaders in tour operator business together with the leaders of the industry. Attending Tour & Travel Services Providers and TAP Partners will together create unique and adventurous itineraries that can be used in successful tour programs.

TAP is a partnership of 34 tour providers in the US and Canada, with destinations all over the world. Over the last eight years, TAP partners have experienced the advantages of doing business with people they trust, and trusting business partners they have built personal relationships with. TAP Dance is an extension of this philosophy, endeavoring to build and develop relationships between operators and travel services providers based on sound business and professional integrity.

One of the distinctions of TAP Dance is the time afforded throughout the weekend for meetings. Another distinction of TAP Dance is fun. The standard elements of a tourism conference are in place, but opportunity is also made for all attending to relax, enjoy, and laugh a little. A dance is meant to be fun!

“It is few times in life that there are mutually beneficial situations, and [TAP Dance] is one of the rare ones…The general feeling is that this was time and money well invested and a partnership experience with tour operators that most [suppliers] did not know is possible,” Franci Edgerly of ITI Marketing, Inc said.

Poll
How is the use of biofuels by the aviation industry going to affect the environment?

It will be a positive step towards fighting climate change, as the aviation industry will be able to reduce its C02 emissions.

It will be positive for the environment but it will cause huge problems in other industries such as the food industry, especially in food supply.

It will have a negative impact as the widespread planting and use of biofuel crops could threaten the natural ecosystems.

It will harm the environment as carbon savings from biofuels are negligible.
