Icelandair opens new route in Canada for summer 2007
Thursday, October 19, 2006
Icelandair will offer a new service to Canada in its 2007 summer schedule. The Canadian city of Halifax (YHZ), Nova Scotia, will be served by three flights each week from London Heathrow Terminal 1 between 17th May and 3rd September 2007. Connections will also be available from Glasgow and passengers from Manchester will be able to create twin-centre trips with one or more nights in Iceland en route.

Icelandair UK & Ireland General Manager, Stephen Brown, said “Bringing Halifax into our schedule means Icelandair will serve six North American gateways in summer 2007, the others being New York, Boston, Baltimore-Washington, Minneapolis-St Paul and Orlando Sanford.”

Icelandair also incresed capacity on its flights to five USA destinations.
