This winter, for the first time, visitors to the Serfaus, Fiss, Landis region of the Tirol will be able to ride on the world`s first four seater hang-glider, taking its riders from an altitude of 1,900m, over a 700m flight, at a speed of 80km per hour, down to the Möseralm, a descent of 47m.

The Fisser Flieger is suspended from a 28mm steel rope, onto which 4 passengers (10 years old and over) are secured by ‘pilot jackets`, which in turn are secured against the support frame with steel ropes, enabling passengers to fly down the valley together.

The Fisser Flieger floats at heights of between 8 and 47 metres above the ground giving the sensation of flying. The ride starts at the Möseralm valley station in Fiss, where all the flight preparations are made. The Flieger is then winched up at 40 km/h in the direction of the Kerbboden run. Once at `launching height`, it`s turned towards the valley where it `flies` down over the Möseralm at speeds of up to 80 km/h. A few minutes and a huge adrenalin rush later, guests land safely in the valley.

The ride operates throughout the year, with a schedule of night flights planned.
