The Rezidor Hotel Group, the Brussels-based hotel management company, revealed international management agreements to develop and operate two new Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts properties in Kiev, Ukraine and Fajairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Radisson SAS Airport Hotel Kiev, currently slated to open in 2009, will be the second Radisson SAS Hotel to open in the city, along with the Radisson SAS Hotel Kiev, located in the downtown Kiev business district.

Center LLC, the hotel’s owner”, said Kurt Ritter, president & CEO of The Rezidor Hotel Group. “This new project emphasizes the importance of the Ukrainian market to The Rezidor Hotel Group, and we see great potential for expansion in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Russia.”

Along with Russia and the CIS, the United Arab Emirates is another very important market for The Rezidor Hotel Group. The Radisson Al Agah Beach Resort is slated to open at the end of 2009 in the Emirate of Fujairah. The new resort will be built on a private stretch of the Al Aqah Beach and will offer extensive water sport facilities.
