Radius wins Fujifilm travel account
Wednesday, February 14, 2007
Fujifilm has selected Radius to provide travel management services to the company`s European operations. “The excellent relationship that we are establishing between Fujifilm and RADIUS in EMEA complements the relationship that currently exists between Fujifilm and RADIUS Travel & Transport in North America. We compared several alternatives before we decided on enhancing our relationship with RADIUS. They have broad coverage and provide high quality service, which was important to us,” said Lydia de Kousemaeker, European commodity manager travel, of the Tilburg, Netherlands-based Fujifilm European Procurement Department.

Along with Radius Travel & Transport, the account will be serviced by Radius Atlas Travel Service in Ireland; Radius Cisalpina in Italy; Radius Derpart in Germany; Radius Portman Travel Group in the United Kingdom; Radius Selectour Voyages in France; Radius VCK in the Netherlands; Radius VIA in Denmark; Radius Viajes El Corte Ingles in Belgium and Spain: and Radius Weco in the Czech Republic and Poland.

Tony Hughes, Radius president and CEO offered: “This new agreement with Fujifilm supports our strategy of continuously expanding our global coverage and providing more service and value to our multinational corporate clients. We were primarily chosen because of our previous successes in raising the value bar as much as our leading travel technology and services in the highly competitive travel management market.”

Kieran Hartwell, Radius vice president for multinational corporate sales added: “We are very pleased to welcome Fujifilm as a new customer. Our experience with them during the thorough evaluation was very positive, with constant communication between Fujifilm and Radius.”

Poll
How is the use of biofuels by the aviation industry going to affect the environment?

It will be a positive step towards fighting climate change, as the aviation industry will be able to reduce its C02 emissions.

It will be positive for the environment but it will cause huge problems in other industries such as the food industry, especially in food supply.

It will have a negative impact as the widespread planting and use of biofuel crops could threaten the natural ecosystems.

It will harm the environment as carbon savings from biofuels are negligible.
