Radius sees success in multinational account sales
Thursday, February 15, 2007
Success in multinational corporate account consolidation in the concluded 12 month period and major growth planned for 2007 has been revealed by Radius. Our client portfolio represents an eclectic group of companies from high-value industries with various multinational consolidation requirements who are sophisticated with their travel buying both regionally and globally, Vicky Fernandez de Larrea, Radius executive vice president for shareholder operations said.

They were looking for travel suppliers who are able to provide travel policy management tools, the latest technology, consistent data, strong buying power, as well as the best services across borders so they sought out the best partner to help them safely and cost-effectively move their travel management programs forward. Our multinational corporate sales team goes to great lengths to know our clients’ requirements and the account management and operations teams make sure the needs are met, added Ms. Fernandez.

Ms. Fernandez joined Radius in January to manage shareholder travel company operations and the multinational corporate sales function.

Tony Hughes, Radius president and CEO offered: Radius’ unique selling point is our independently owned travel companies, all leaders in their local markets, who are performing as one company to service our multinational business. Our goal is to fulfill customer needs and we are committed to providing them with outstanding service and value with continuous improvement and optimization of global opportunities. We will challenge the established names in the global travel management arena - most of whom are now controlled or owned by one or a few entities. Each one of our travel companies is recognized as a leader in their field and by joining together we will be a force to reckon with and we expect to see even greater results over the next 12 months.

Poll
How is the use of biofuels by the aviation industry going to affect the environment?

It will be a positive step towards fighting climate change, as the aviation industry will be able to reduce its C02 emissions.

It will be positive for the environment but it will cause huge problems in other industries such as the food industry, especially in food supply.

It will have a negative impact as the widespread planting and use of biofuel crops could threaten the natural ecosystems.

It will harm the environment as carbon savings from biofuels are negligible.
