Aviapartner appoints new group commercial director ground handling

Andy Cruise hasa been appointed to the position of Group Commercial Director of Aviapartner`s Business Line Ground Handling. Andy Cruise will hold full responsibility over all commercial aspects in the Business Line Ground Handling throughout the network (passenger services and ramp handling:operations, as opposed to cargo handling) and will work closely together with Patrick Lampaert (responsible of sales for the Benelux region and Italy), Philippe Bois (in charge of sales for France), and Geoffrey Styles (in charge of sales for Germany).

Nigel Daniel, Executive Vice President Ground Handling: “We’re all looking forward to working with Andy who has such a broad knowledge of the ground handling sector. His experience in our sector in both commercial and operational aspects will no doubt be a precious asset for our sales force. Having him on board will be instrumental in further growing the business and highlighting our position as a leader of integrated network deals in Europe, across the entire range of carriers, including the low-cost segment.”

In his new position, Andy Cruise will report directly to Nigel Daniel and will be based in the group’s Head Office in Brussels. His appointment is effective since 7 May 2007.
