One of Melbourne’s newest icons becomes its newest tourist attraction as Eureka Tower officially opened its doors to public. Eureka Skydeck 88, located adjacent to the Yarra River in the heart of the Southgate Precinct, is said to be the highest public vantage point in the Southern Hemisphere offering unparalleled views of Melbourne and its surrounds.

Eureka Skydeck 88 will also feature the ‘Edge’ experience, a moving glass cube which works like a giant matchbox carrying passengers from the inside of Eureka Tower all the way outside of the building.
Meanwhile further down the Yarra, the restoration of Central Pier continues the evolution of Melbourne’s Docklands precinct and under the management of the Atlantic Group, Shed 14 is being transformed and event organisers are about to have four new state-of-the-art venues to choose from.

Peninsula is slated to become Melbourne’s grandest waterside function space. Sketch will be its smaller sister. Joining these two new venues on the water are the new and improved versions of established venues Sumac and Atlantic which are relocating from South Wharf, a different part of the Docklands which is planned for redevelopment.
