Thunderbolt Technologies signs agreement with Worldspan for new e-venture

Thunderbolt Technologies, an online travel solutions provider headquartered in Orlando, Florida, and Worldspan signed a new e-commerce agreement that will soon come to fruition through the launch of several branded consumer travel Web sites.
Thunderbolt Technologies selected Worldspan in late 2006 as its partner in providing online distribution technologies and global travel content to its U.S.-based clientele. Thunderbolt`s eTravelStores(TM) solution serve travel suppliers, distributors and travel agencies seeking to enter the online marketplace.
Thunderbolt Technologies has implemented Worldspan`s industry-leading XML Pro messaging technology to power its newly developed Internet booking and distribution engine (IDBE), marketed as eTravelStores.
The three-year agreement between Thunderbolt Technologies and Worldspan includes plans for Thunderbolt`s future expansion into India`s growing online travel marketplace.
Thunderbolt`s U.S.-based clients scheduled to launch consumer travel portals in the near future include RapidFares.com, TripsFast.com, BookItOnline.com, LetsGo360.com and eTravel.com.
