Summer 2007 sales turned around for Libra Holidays
Friday, July 06, 2007
As the travel industry continues to bear a very tough and challenging booking period, specialist tour operator Libra Holidays has reported a turn around in sales thanks to strong summer bookings this month.

Libra Holidays’ destinations include Cyprus, Greece, Egypt and Turkey and whilst bookings for summer 2007 got off to a slow start compared to last year, a sizeable surge in enquiries has enabled the tour operator to recover and be on a par with last year with some areas even reaching slightly above targets.

Sales and Marketing Senior Manager, Riccardo Benzo, commented, “It is no secret that the industry is experiencing one of the toughest booking periods in history and is finding this time a challenge. In spite of these external conditions Libra Holidays has overcome a slow start for summer 2007 and I am pleased to report that sales are on the up across our range of holidays.”
