Six new hotels joined Carlson Hotels Worldwide global portfolio during July 2007 as the company stated. The new properties include a Radisson resort in Fiji; a Park Inn Canada; and four Country Inns & Suites By Carlson properties in Ohio; Michigan, Virginia and Florida.

Carlson`s hotel brands continue to build great momentum as we completed the mid-point of 2007, said Bill Sipple, corporate vice president of development for Carlson Hotels Worldwide. We are seeing steady and strong growth with the expansion of Country Inns & Suites in the United States and Park Inn in Canada, plus introductions into important new markets such as Fiji for Radisson.

The newly constructed Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Iron Mountain is owned by TJM Hospitality, LLC.

Park Inn Expands in Canada`s Atlantic Provinces

Regent Hotels & Resorts Readies for Future Growth

Regent Hotels & Resorts continues its global expansion announcing its first property in the United Arab Emirates, The Regent Emirates Pearl. The hotel is scheduled to open in Abu Dhabi in 2010.

Regent resort properties continue to grow with the announcement of planned 2008 opening of The Regent Maldives on the island nation located in the Indian Ocean. Regent Hotels & Resorts will transform the island of Maalefushi into a 50-villa luxury resort.

In 2010, Regent will add The Regent Papagayo in Costa Rica to its resort portfolio. The Regent Papagayo will be a 150-room, five-star luxury resort.

The hotel group also moved forward with its North American properties, celebrating a construction milestone for The Regent Boston at Battery Wharf. The 150-room luxury hotel, slated to open in 2008, will be
part of a mixed-use development destination with 104-unit hotel-serviced residential condominiums, a marina, and a Coast Guard Museum.

How is the use of biofuels by the aviation industry going to affect the environment?

It will be a positive step towards fighting climate change, as the aviation industry will be able to reduce its C02 emissions.

It will be positive for the environment but it will cause huge problems in other industries such as the food industry, especially in food supply.

It will have a negative impact as the widespread planting and use of biofuel crops could threaten the natural ecosystems.

It will harm the environment as carbon savings from biofuels are negligible.
