KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will start operating a daily service to Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.A., in cooperation with Northwest Airlines. “Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is an important business and leisure destination, and is one of the fastest growing markets in the U.S.A.. For that reason we want to offer our customers another direct flight to an important growth region in the U.S.A”, says Peter Hartman, president and CEO of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

The airport of Dallas-Forth Worth ranks 6th in the world for passengers, with over 60 million passengers annually.

The start-up of the new service to Dallas-Fort Worth is part of KLM/Northwest Airlines’ commitment to serve the North American market. Dallas-Fort Worth will be the nineteenth North American destination served by the combined KLM - Northwest Airlines Joint Venture via Schiphol. In total, KLM and Northwest Airlines will operate 250 flights per week between Europe and North America.
