Ibiza will be the next destination for Jet2.com, as the low cost airline announced that it had launched a direct service between its Blackpool base and the ‘White Isle’. The services will start from 3rd July 2008. Initially two flights a week on Mondays and Thursdays will operate, with the airline looking to increase this frequency in the future.
This announcement brings the total Jet2.com destinations served from Blackpool to eight, as the airline continues to expand its services for residents of the North West.
Philip Meeson, boss of Jet2.com, said: “Our latest announcement from our growing base at Blackpool is very exciting. Ibiza is a fantastic destination and offers great options for holiday-makers, whatever their tastes.”
“Our latest announcement from Blackpool is also exciting news as we now offer direct flights to eight top European destinations, including Tenerife, Faro and Palma de Mallorca. Ibiza is a welcomed addition to this growing list and we expect high demand for our great value services.”
