February

3rd – A Day on the Green

25th – Drayton’s Vintage Fair
Music, entertainment, amusements rides, barrel rolling and food stalls to enjoy at Drayton’s Family Wines.

14th-15th – Hunter Semillon and Seafood
Wine Education and Semillon Master Classes, Master Chef Demonstrations, live music, fabulous food and fresh seafood presented by some of the Hunter’s finest restaurants, entertainment and so much more at Tyrrell’s Vineyards.

27th- 3rd June – Hunter Valley Harvest Celebrations
Hunter Valley Wine Makers and the community join to celebrate the end of harvest. Two months of revelry focusing on great food, fine wine, live music and theatre.

19th – 20th – Lovedale Long Lunch
8 wineries, 8 top chefs providing sumptuous cuisine and an array of fabulous music and art, over a two-day weekend. Yours to enjoy!

27th Jul- 2nd Sept - Festival of Flowers
100,000 annuals and 10,000 bulbs burst with colour. Music, dancing, floral demonstations, art exhibitions, roving entertainment, cooking demonstrations, garden talks, all at the beautiful Hunter Valley Gardens.

1st – Bimbadgen Blues at Bimbadgen Estate
2 Stages and 6 hours of non-stop music provided by the best blues and roots musicians and Australia. Enjoy a day of fine entertainment, great food and wine in the beautiful surroundings of Bimbadgen Estate.

1st – The Feast of the Olives
Enjoy olives and olive product tastings, cooking demonstrations, education classes and free recipes.

9th – Broke Village Fair and Vintage Car Display at Broke Fordwich
Sample the wines produced in Broke Forwich, be entertained by pipe and drum bands as you wander through the craft stalls and vintage car displays.

Oct/Nov

20th – Opera in the Vineyards
The sun setting over the vines at Wyndham Estate – your cue to adjourn to a magnificent open-air amphitheatre for an opera gala, performed with full orchestra under the stars.

27th Jazz in the Vines at Tyrrell’s Vineyards
Be entertained by some of the country’s big names in Jazz, held in the famous Tyrrell’s Vineyards. Other stars of the show are the food and wine of Hunter Valley Wine Country.

15th Oct – 11th Nov – Rose Spectacular at Hunter Valley Gardens
Over 35,000 roses, 125 different rose varieties and new releases, art exhibitions and cooking demonstrations.
