Cologne boasts six extraordinary Christmas markets. There are pretty markets by the cathedral, at Alter Markt and Neumarkt, while Rudolfplatz is home to a fairytale-themed version and there is a medieval market outside the Chocolate Museum.
Last but not least, a floating Christmas market is held on one of the “Köln-Düsseldorf” Rhine cruise ships. Get into the yuletide swing with countless stalls, mouth-watering delights from around the world, evocative Christmas concerts, stage shows, Nativity displays and a festive boat trip on the Rhine.
