No place like Greece for sailing

There`s not a place in the world more popular than Greece for sailing<.> holidays, according to a recent article published in the UK travel publication Travel Weekly. The article`s author spoke to tour operators Neilson (Thomas Cook), Moorings and Sunsail.
The first question centered on the ideal destination for a quiet sailing holiday, regardless of cost. Tour operator Neilson selected Greece, Moorings the British Virgin Islands and Sunsail picked Thailand.
A second question referred to the ideal spot for a sailing holiday for a family of four. All three tour operators said Greece was the ideal sailing destination for an experienced couple with two teenage children.
For the best sailing destination for a group of four friends with no sailing experience and with limited funds, however, two of the tour operators picked Turkey as the top spot because of low prices. Tour operator Moorings preferred the Caribbean.
