easyJet launches six new routes

easyJet announced the introduction of a further six new routes next spring, increasing the total number of new easyJet routes from the UK over the next six months to 18, with more new route announcements expected in the coming weeks.

David Osborne, easyJet UK General Manager, commented, “easyJet will launch 18 new routes over the next few months from our bases across the UK and we will shortly announce further expansion, re-enforcing our position as the UK’s largest airline”.

In addition to the new route announcement, easyJet has released its summer 2008 schedule from its base at London Luton Airport, with summer schedules from the airline largest base at Gatwick expected to be released within the next two weeks.

Providers of luxury travel products are going to witness shorter stays by their customers and an increase in seasonality.

People are going to become more value conscious and will opt for those luxury offers that represent a convincing value-for-money proposition. Providers of overpriced services are those to feel the pinch.
