easyJet launches six new routes

easyJet announced the introduction of a further six new routes next spring, increasing the total number of new easyJet routes from the UK over the next six months to 18, with more new route announcements expected in the coming weeks.
The new six routes are:
- Bristol – Biarritz 23 April 2008 Four weekly
- Bristol – Olbia 26 April 2008 Three weekly
- Bristol – Split 26 April 2008 Two weekly
- Edinburgh - Nice 24 April 2008 Three weekly
- Glasgow – Faro 22 April 2008 Three weekly
- London Luton - Pisa 30 March 2008 Daily
These new routes are in addition to the previously announced routes:
- East Midlands - Barcelona 7 December 2007
- Bournemouth - Grenoble 13 December 2007
- Birmingham - Geneva 14 December 2007
- Bristol - Innsbruck 14 December 2007
- London Gatwick - Innsbruck 14 December 2007
- Birmingham - Grenoble 22 December 2007
- Liverpool – Innsbruck 8 January 2008
- London Gatwick - Thessaloniki 30 January 2008
- East Midlands - Palma 7 February 2008
- Liverpool - Jersey 31 March 2008
- Newcastle – Murcia 17 May 2008
- London Luton - Jersey 31 March 2008
David Osborne, easyJet UK General Manager, commented, “easyJet will launch 18 new routes over the next few months from our bases across the UK and we will shortly announce further expansion, re-enforcing our position as the UK’s largest airline”.
In addition to the new route announcement, easyJet has released its summer 2008 schedule from its base at London Luton Airport, with summer schedules from the airline largest base at Gatwick expected to be released within the next two weeks.
