"ACTE is truly a global powerhouse, and works hard to ensure that our educational and networking programs reflect the growth and demand of our expanding membership," Gurley said. "More importantly, ACTE is continually working to establish a lasting presence in its member countries through the association's branded Regional Conferences, Executive Forums and PowerTalks that speak directly to the issues in these key international regions in a meaningful and intelligent way."
She added, "We are pleased that a non-profit education association has been asked by its members to provide expanded curricula. The fact that we are holding our first conference ever in Africa, 9-11 November 2008, attests to the influence of ACTE on a global basis, and the demand for the superior education programs which we have always provided to the corporate travel industry."
With offices in South Africa, Singapore, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, Germany, and the United States, and professional staff providing support to ACTE members in now more than 82 countries worldwide, ACTE has grown to host or co-host more than 60 international events in key locations and reach more than 6,000 corporate travel, procurement, finance and business executives each year. ACTE's membership is a true representation of the four corners of the globe – Albania, Belgium and Cameroon to the United Kingdom, Vietnam and Yemen.
