
From 3 March, the independent operator, will increase weekday flights to 6 a day from Aberdeen to Newcastle, 4 a day from Aberdeen to Southampton and from Newcastle to Southampton. From 7 April, weekday flights will increase to 4 a day from Aberdeen to Leeds Bradford, Southampton to Leeds Bradford and 3 a day from Newcastle to Cardiff.
Chris Holliday, Eastern Airways’ chief operating officer, said: “To accompany the introduction of our new schedules, which provide even greater choice of flights from Aberdeen, Newcastle and Southampton, we are also offering travellers great value one way fares to major UK cities this summer. There are no additional costs for preferred seats or hold luggage, however we do advise passengers to book early to benefit from these fares.”
Services from Aberdeen to Newcastle and Southampton along with flights from Newcastle to Southampton will be operated by larger 50 seat Saab 2000 aircraft, increasing capacity by up to 60%.
