Gulf Air taps Discover the World Marketing for US sales

Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has selected Discover the World Marketing to market and sell its services throughout the US beginning in January. “The USA is an important market for us to enhance our presence and we needed a company with a proven track record to handle this objective,” said Ahmed Ali Hajee, Gulf Air’s General Manager Offline Markets.

“Discover has continued to expand its representation with us because of the effective methods they use in selling our services and raising our brand awareness since mid-2006. Thus, they became the logical choice for North American representation.”

Jenny Adams, CEO of Discover the World Marketing said, “Discover is very familiar with Gulf Air since we represent them in Austria, Canada, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Russia Federation, and Sweden. We have formed the marketing team that will handle the day-to-day operations of educating the US travel community about Gulf Air, an airline that combines traditional Arabian hospitality with innovative services such as on board nannies. Sales representatives are located in Houston, New York, and Los Angeles with the marketing and account executive and trade support located in our Scottsdale office.”
