Wizz Air further expands in Romania

Wizz Air launched its first domestic service in Romania with flights between Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca with 4 weekly frequencies. This is the only domestic flight operated by low cost company in Romania. In addition to this, the airline started thrice weekly flights from Bucharest to Brussels Charleroi, Milan Bergamo and from Cluj-Napoca to Dortmund.

Wizz Air will continue to further strengthen its position in Romania by opening its 8th base in Cluj-Napoca with initially one new A320 aircraft in May 2008. The new aircraft will be deployed on the airline’s new routes from Cluj-Napoca to Valencia and Milan Bergamo commencing on 15 May as well as for frequency increase on a number of existing routes.

People are going to become more value conscious and will opt for those luxury offers that represent a convincing value-for-money proposition. Providers of overpriced services are those to feel the pinch.
