Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation spreads its wings in North Asia
Wednesday, March 12, 2008

Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation announced it now has local representation in the key markets of Japan and Korea. “North Asian aviation will experience a boom over the next few years and the Centre’s aviation intelligence services will be covering all the developments, with enhanced coverage from Japan and Korea”, said the Centre’s Executive Chairman, Peter Harbison.

The Centre has established a representation relationship with Japan Aviation Management Research (JAMR). An independent think-tank established by former Japan Airlines executives, JAMR is playing a role for CAPA as general agent in Japan, providing sales representation and market updates and research from Japan that fold into the expanding CAPA Membership service.

JAMR Founder and Principal, Yoshihisa Akai, stated, “we are delighted to have entered this relationship with the leading Asia Pacific aviation research institution, the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation. We look forward to assisting the Centre in its coverage of the rapidly evolving Japanese aviation market and extending its reach into the many aviation corporations that are seeking to keep abreast of developments in the region”.

Meanwhile, the Centre has developed a strong representation in Korea through former Korean Air executive, Kyung-sup Lee. The Centre will be presenting at the upcoming 3rd World’s Best Airports Forum to be held in Incheon, on 23-25 April 2008.
