Tourism marketing organizations, hospitality and attractions companies, retailers and airlines are busy preparing their application for the CTW Chinese Tourists Welcoming Awards which will be presented in Beijing in April.

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Georg Arlt, Director of the German-based organizer COTRI commented: “We are happy to receive many applications for the CTW Award from all over the world. It is however not too late yet for companies or organizations engaged in providing good services to Chinese tourists to join the CTW Award 2008. It is now in its fifth year and participation is as always free of charge.”

Applications have to reach COTRI China Outbound Tourism Research Institute before March 28th.

Started in 2004, the CTW Award is now inviting applications already for the fifth time, thanks also to the partnership with Global Refund financial services Co. and the Tarsus exhibition organizer Group.

The CTW Award is presented in five categories: Product development, Marketing, Internet/New Media, Human Resource Development and Overall Performance, with Gold, Silver and Bronze awards given away by an international jury.

The winners will be presented during the COTTM China Outbound Travel and Tourism Market on April 14th in Beijing/China.
