Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has a new partner in Nigeria: Jubilee Travels Limited. Following its purchase of Transcap Travel Bureaux, Jubilee obtained the license to distribute CWT products and services in Nigeria. The company, while remaining independently owned and operated, is now operating as Carlson Wagonlit Travel Nigeria and is present in four locations: Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Ibadan.

Olumide Idowu, executive chairman of the company, said, “As a Carlson Wagonlit Travel partner, we are now in a position to deliver many of the same travel management services CWT offers around the world.  Our clients, employees and industry partners will all benefit from the leading-edge technology, know-how and professional expertise CWT is known for.”

Managing Director Niron Ogunoshun added, “It is our goal to fully satisfy our clients’ needs and expectations and be the recognized leader in travel management in Nigeria. To that end, we are committed to continuously developing our people, encouraging innovative solutions and delivering excellence in all we do.”

Coenraad Bijlsma, vice president of the CWT Global Partners Network said, “Carlson Wagonlit Travel Nigeria has seasoned travel industry veterans at its helm. Olumide Idowu and Niron Ogunoshun are passionate about this business and embody the values that guide CWT around the world. How is the use of biofuels by the aviation industry going to affect the environment?

It will be a positive step towards fighting climate change, as the aviation industry will be able to reduce its C02 emissions.

It will be positive for the environment but it will cause huge problems in other industries such as the food industry, especially in food supply.

It will have a negative impact as the widespread planting and use of biofuel crops could threaten the natural ecosystems.

It will harm the environment as carbon savings from biofuels are negligible.
