From Monday (7 April 2008), the UK regional carrier will increase weekday services on the following routes: Leeds Bradford to Aberdeen from 3 to 4 flights a day, Leeds Bradford to Southampton from 3 to 4 flights a day, Newcastle to Cardiff from 2 to 3 flights a day and Manchester to London Stansted from 3 to 4 flights a day (Mon to Thu).
This latest move by the airline follows last month’s increase of weekday flights to six a day from Aberdeen to Newcastle, four a day from Southampton to Aberdeen and four a day from Newcastle to Southampton.
“Our enhanced services are tailored to meet the needs of business commuters,” said Chris Holliday, Eastern Airways’ chief operating officer. “As with many of our services we are offering the best choice of flights enabling travellers to conduct important business away from the office without the need for an overnight stay.”
