Work starts on the Coach House at Great Fosters
Wednesday, April 09, 2008

Great Fosters will be launching an exclusive new meeting facility within the grounds of the 16th Century hotel in September. The Coach House is being re-developed as part of a £3 million investment of the Surrey hotels’ business facilities.

Work has already begun on the Grade II listed former coach house and stables, which will provide business visitors with a private and contemporary first class ‘airport lounge’ style facility. The Coach House will consist of three board room style meeting rooms, a stylish breakout area and 22 bespoke bedrooms complete with plasma screens and iPod docking stations; creating a self contained and exclusive business product.

“Great Fosters has always been a preferred host for significant international meetings that require privacy and quiet,” comments Richard Young, Director and General Manager of Great Fosters. “The Coach House provides a secure environment that combines stylish accommodation within a historical setting. We’ve given it an ‘airport lounge’ feel, sympathetic to international travellers flying in and out of the meeting.”
