How is CULTOUR run?
Wednesday, April 09, 2008
On Thursday and Friday (June 12 & 13, 2008), from 10:00 to 18:00 hours, CULTOUR is open to professional visitors only. No seminars or any other activities are held during these hours. Pre-arranged meetings between exhibitors and hosted buyers are set up.

Other professional visitors -non-hosted buyers- may pre-register or register onsite to attend CULTOUR and meet exhibitors at their own will.

CULTOUR is run as a serious, professional trade mart, where entertainment in the show area and food and beverage will only be allowed in the stands at specific hours: 12:00 noon to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 18:00 hours.

Evenings are open for exhibitors to sponsor and offer cultural activities to buyers, such as folkloric shows, music and dance performances, gastronomy offers, archaeology and antiques exhibitions, handicrafts shops... both, in and out of the fair grounds.

How will the currently developing financial crisis and oil prices rally affect the tourism industry?.

they will have temporary and minimal effect and the situation will stabilize in a year or two

we should be looking at a restructuring in the international tourism movements and trends

it is still too early to access the impact on world tourism, medium or long term

we will see more tourism closer to home, and less international travel
