FastBooking signs agreement with Bezurk.com
Thursday, April 10, 2008

FastBooking, provider of Internet Booking Systems and E-Marketing Services for the hospitality industry and Bezurk.com, the travel search engine in Asia announced a marketing partnership, which will enable the integration of FastBooking’s portfolio of hotels into the Bezurk travel search.

Under this agreement Bezurk.com will display real-time room availability and rates for all of FastBooking’s hotel clients to visitors searching for accommodation and direct potential guests to Fastbooking.com to complete the booking process.

This new integration will provide visitors to Bezurk.com with the opportunity to search and compare an extended selection of more than 3,700 hotels in the world and more specifically on European destinations.

FastBooking’s hotel portfolio mainly includes independent and group hotels from 3 to 5 stars, offering Bezurk’s visitors a high quality choice while guaranteeing the most competitive rates, and the necessary availabilities to satisfy their demand.

The alliance with Bezurk.com is a key element in the FastBooking’s development strategy in Asia and will enable the company to build brand awareness and promote its distinctive hotels offering to a large and valuable target audience. It follows several partnership agreements signed with international key players in the travel & tourism industry in Europe and America.

"This partnership is a valuable addition to FastBooking’s distribution program designed to provide hoteliers with an additional distribution channel and maximize their on-line revenue. As Asia’s premier travel search engine Bezurk.com is the ideal platform to reach highly qualified consumers across the Asia Pacific region, drive more visitors to fastbooking.com thus bringing increased visibility and high value bookings to our hotel partners” states Alain Hirschfeld, Deputy Director Business Development, FastBooking.

“We are delighted to be working with Fastbooking because it expands the breadth of hotel results that our users get to see,” says Bezurk Founder & Chief Commercial Officer, Craig Hewett. “This year is set to be a year of great growth for Bezurk, in terms of new product features and increasing user traffic, which will in turn benefit partners like Fastbooking."

How do you expect luxury travel to perform in times of economic downturn?.

Providers of luxury travel products are going to witness shorter stays by their customers and an increase in seasonality.

People are going to become more value conscious and will opt for those luxury offers that represent a convincing value-for-money proposition. Providers of overpriced services are those to feel the pinch.

Both people paying for their personal trips and firms paying for their top executives' business trips will cut back on travel expenses, thus affecting all luxury travel providers.

It is going to be business as usual. Those people opting for high-end travel products are not going to be affected by the looming crisis.
