Jebel Ali International Hotels to showcase new hotels in Seychelles at ATM
Wednesday, April 30, 2008

With a management contract in the Seychelles Islands for two new luxury properties of Enchanted Seychelles in tow, Jebel Ali International Hotels will exhibit independently for the third year running at the Arabian Travel Market 2008.

Since last year’s ATM Jebel Ali International Hotels the company signed management contracts for the exclusive 10-villa Round Island Resort which will open in the second quarter of 2009 and a 39-room boutique hotel on Mahe, named The Waterfront.  Round Island Resort is set within a designated National Marine Park and all villas will each have their own private swimming pool and beach access, outdoor deck, pavilion and access to a Lifestyle Spa and Wellness Centre which offers traditional eastern and western tailored spa treatments.

The successful owner and/or operator of various unique entities in Dubai will conclude international contracting and finalise joint summer marketing campaigns for its array of local properties including the flagship Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa, which comprises the exclusive all-suite Palm Tree Court & Spa, a member of ‘The Leading Hotels of the World’ and the Jebel Ali Hotel. Other properties include the Hatta Fort Hotel mountain retreat, Oasis Beach Hotel and the spacious luxury hotel apartments of the Oasis Beach Tower on the Jumeirah beach strip.

“ATM provides a perfect opportunity to showcase our portfolio to over 23,000 industry specialists and expose them to the fantastic local hospitality which contributes to Dubai’s incredible international demand. While our flagship property Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa is being expanded this summer with a luxury extension of 74 suites and junior suites at Palm Tree Court & Spa, the Hatta Fort Hotel is entering the season with a brand new set of refurbished rooms in the west wing along with a beautiful new Sunset Terrace overlooking the Hajar Mountains,” said Mariaan du Plessis, Director of Marketing for the company’s corporate hospitality division.

The business activities of Jebel Ali International Hotels are not solely limited to resorts and hotel management as the portfolio also boasts Bateaux Dubai, a unique dining cruise vessel on Dubai Creek, the Jebel Ali International Shooting Club, the Jebel Ali International Centre of Excellence and Jumana - Secret of the Desert Show at the Al Sahra Desert Resort in Dubailand.  Each of these special entities offers superior and distinctive products and services while never losing sight of their Arabian heritage and hospitality.

How will the currently developing financial crisis and oil prices rally affect the tourism industry?.

they will have temporary and minimal effect and the situation will stabilize in a year or two

we should be looking at a restructuring in the international tourism movements and trends

it is still too early to access the impact on world tourism, medium or long term

we will see more tourism closer to home, and less international travel
