Tuesday, May 20, 2008

As part of its continuous expansion drive, Air Miles, the multi-participant coalition loyalty programme in Middle East, has recently partnered with yet more high-profile companies, so expanding its partner network to over 120 in the UAE.

The new participants include Geekay Games, the premier Abu Dhabi Golf Club, Octane Service Centre and four popular restaurants of the Al Koufa group, Al Merkaz in Media City, Al Makkan in Madinat Jumeirah, Al Balad near Burj Dubai and Shaabiyat Al Koufa in Al Ain.

“We’re delighted to welcome these fantastic new brands into the Air Miles portfolio and the range they represent brings us yet closer to offering our members Air Miles on all their everyday shopping spend. Our extensive customer database allows us to identify potential new segments and we then target the top brands in that sector with the needs and wants of the consumer at the front of our mind,” said Dave Battiston, CEO, Air Miles.

“We are confident that our new collaborations will continue to provide our million plus members with even more opportunities to earn Air Miles and therefore enjoy the range of rewards that this brings them.

“The Geekay Group is a large chain of retail stores, dealing in video and computer games for all new generation consoles like PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and so on. With seven retail outlets and the widest range of games across all formats available, these are undoubtedly the leaders in their field,” continued Battiston.

“Octane is the first and only lifestyle vehicle service centre, and its award winning team of experts has more than 25 years of combined experience in servicing and repairing high-end luxury vehicles, so you know your car is in good hands.”

“The Abu Dhabi Golf Club is a premier golfing destination that offers one of the most luxurious golf resort experiences in the Middle East. Described as a ’super course‘, the 162 hectares of the Abu Dhabi Golf Club feature one of the finest 27-hole championship golfing facilities in the region. Equipped with world-class leisure and lifestyle facilities, this is the perfect recreation destination not only for Golfing enthusiasts but families as well. The club also boasts a uniquely styled club house overlooking the Golf course so now you can enjoy the view and earn Air Miles at the same time.”

“All four restaurants of the Al Koufa Group offer Arabic delicacies cooked to perfection. All outlets are uniquely located, so enjoy the heritage taste of Dubai and make this a meal to remember.”

"In just 7 years, Air Miles has become the key player in the Middle East retail loyalty market and we’ll continue to expand to ensure the needs of our members are met, ultimately transforming the shopping experience of  consumers within the region,”
concluded Battiston.
