Sundance Resort is now a Virtuoso property
Tuesday, June 03, 2008

Sundance Resort is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the exclusive travel company Virtuoso, a high end specialist in the art of travel.  The mountain resort becomes the only property in Utah to have such a distinction.

“The Virtuoso network is synonymous with the luxury travel experience,” said Chad Linebaugh, General Manager of Sundance Resort.  “Sundance is honored to have been invited to join this prestigious organization and as the only Virtuoso property in Utah, we look forward to sharing the Sundance experience with Virtuoso guests from around the world.”

While Sundance Resort has always attracted high end guests, the affiliation with Virtuoso now means that the resort Robert Redford established in 1969 will be more visible in exclusive travel circles, providing agents with an opportunity to book clients for a decidedly unique experience.

“Virtuoso is pleased to welcome Sundance Resort into the Virtuoso network as our first and only preferred property in Utah,” says Albert Herrera, vice president of Virtuoso’s Hotels & Resorts Program.  “Sundance’s ability to welcome our guests and provide them with a personalized experience is only enhanced by the property’s origin and reputation.  We look forward to furthering the legacy created by Mr. Redford.”

The Sundance experience is unlike any other as guests enjoy excellent service paired with a casual environment that is designed to rejuvenate the mind and body.  Breath-taking views of the Wasatch range invite guests to explore the mountains in summer by horseback, mountain bike or foot and in winter by ski and snowshoe.  After taking it all in, guests can enjoy the spa, fine dining at the restaurants, periodic film screenings as well as various art classes.

With an array of activities, guests are never left wanting for something to do but, at its roots, Sundance still fosters the same spirit that Mr. Redford sought to create almost 40 years ago: a place where art, nature and recreation converge.
