The Shilla Seoul introduces in-room duty free shopping
Tuesday, July 08, 2008
South Korea’s only in-room duty free shopping service has been introduced at the country’s premier 5-star hotel, The Shilla Seoul.

The Shilla’s new service allows guests to choose from an exceptional range of duty free goods, from premium wines and spirits, cosmetics and fragrances, to jewellery, clothing and accessories from many of the world’s leading luxury brands.

A catalogue in each room and suite enables guests to relax and shop at their leisure, and submit their order at least 24 hours before departure.

Payments can be made by credit card at check-out, with discounts available by completing a VIP application form with a business card attached.

On presenting a receipt on leaving the country, duty free purchases can then be collected at one of two duty-free shops newly opened by The Shilla at Incheon Airport. Both are located in Concourse A.

The duty-free service further enhances The Shilla’s reputation as one of Asia's most admired hotel groups, renowned for luxurious accommodation with state-of-the-art facilities, high-end technology and subtle, personalised service.

The Shilla Seoul and The Shilla Jeju, affiliated with the Samsung Corporation, are both members of The Leading Hotels of the World.
