Online Revealed brings its unique concept of educating professionals to market effectively online to the Caribbean tourism and travel industry this Fall 2008.
Tourism marketers must now more than ever rely on the Internet to reach their consumers. Even in tougher economic times, there continues to be rapid growth in consumers researching and buying travel online.

Attendees of the first ever Online Revealed Caribbean Conference will hear straight talk about how to reach customers directly through tactics like Search Engine Optimization, Paid Search Advertising, Online PR, Social Media Marketing and more.

Content will include real case studies of how destinations have been successful in driving traffic to their websites and realizing revenues that are trackable back to online marketing initiatives, along with practical application workshops covering how to get started with website development, web marketing, measuring online success, and more.

“We are excited to be bringing Online Revealed to the Caribbean,” said Patricia Brusha, Co-Chair of the conference and Co-Founder of A Couple of Chicks e-Marketing, producers of the event. “We see that the Caribbean market has a unique opportunity to directly reach the millions that are searching travel options online and we have assembled the best in the industry to bring them the tools they need to succeed.”

150 Caribbean travel industry professionals from Destination Marketing organizations, Tourism Operators, Hoteliers, Attractions, Media and Marketing Agencies, Programmers, Designers and Tourism Suppliers are expected to attend to experience the unique format of keynote presentations, panel discussions and online marketing workshops.

Online Revealed Caribbean comes to Puerto Rico this September 17-19, 2008 at the Caribe Hilton.

The imminent privatization of Olympic Airlines is expected to change the fate of this debt-laden airline. What do you think the new owner should do in regard to the brand name of the Greek national flag carrier?.

Keep “Olympic Airlines” as the name of the company as it remains a strong brand.

The company should keep “Olympic” as an element of its name but refresh the brand (e.g. “New Olympic Airlines”).

The airline should drop “Olympic” from its name. This brand has lost its value and isn’t relevant to the market anymore.
