West Africa organises travel trade show: MBOKA 2008

West African Travel Market "MBOKA" - LogoThe Gambia Tourism Authority and their West African partners invite travel professionals to “MBOKA 2008”, the first West African Travel Market, which will take place from 18 -22 October 2008 in Banjul, The Gambia.

MBOKA 2008 is a business to business event (B2B) bringing together major actors involved in tourism & hospitality linking West Africa and Europe. This tourism fair will include presentations, business-to-business meetings, workshops and excursions. Special MBOKA 2008 theme is sustainable/responsible tourism.

The show is ideal for tour operators interested in looking at the possibility of integrating new West African tourism products into their packages. The ‘MBOKA 2008 West African Travel Market’ is the place to learn about West Africa and cooperation possibilities. It is a place to meet West African business partners and do business with them.

West African tourism suppliers exhibiting at MBOKA 2008 include: accommodation suppliers, excursion companies, destinations, carriers, incoming agents, tourism boards, community-based tourism initiatives, sustainable tourism service providers, NGOs in tourism and many other tourism service providers.
