Monday, September 01, 2008
Blue Sky Tours, a leading Hawaii vacation company has launched a new affiliate booking engine using technology powered by XYKA. The system will enable Blue Sky Tours affiliates to sell Hawaii vacation packages on their own web site and give customers on these web sites the ability to dynamically create their own package of air, hotel and rental car.

Blue Sky Tours, a subsidiary of the Mark Travel Corporation has offered Hawaii packages exclusively through retail travel agents for more than 27 years. “We are always working toward giving more power to the travel agent community”, commented Levi Sanchez, Director of Electronic Distribution, Blue Sky Tours.

Blue Sky Tours maintains contracts with most major airlines, hotels, and rental car suppliers on all the Hawaiian Islands. An affiliate can now offer these exclusive travel deals on their own web site. “The new dynamic packaging engine empowers my customers to build their own Hawaii vacation package. My customers can choose their own combination of flight, hotel and rental car and select the dates they wish to travel”, commented an affiliate of Blue Sky Tours.

XYKA, a leading travel technology solution provider was selected by Blue Sky Tours for building the system. “XYKA and Blue Sky Tours have a common goal in that we both want to provide our customers with a quality product at an excellent value. We would like to thank XYKA for meeting our high standards in a very timely manner”, said Levi.

Blue Sky Tours and XYKA have already started work on the next version of the dynamic packaging engine which will support multi-island reservations, island activities reservation and give more flexibility to affiliates in controlling the web site layout and pricing.

“We have been extremely pleased with the success of this system implementation. At XYKA our goal has always been to understand our customer needs and deliver solutions that generate maximum ROI” said Nirav Chhatrapati, President of XYKA.
