Wizz Air launches new flights from Cluj to Paris Beauvais
Thursday, September 04, 2008
Wizz Air, the largest low-fare low-cost airline based in Central and Eastern Europe announced that it would continue its expansion from Cluj and introduce new services to Paris Beauvais. The new flight will be launched on 18 December and initially operated three times a week. Paris Beauvais is a well established airport of Wizz Air where the airline currently operates 3 routes but it will be the first route of the company to France from Romania.

This expansion move comes shortly after the airline announced that it would open its 10th base and introduce new flights from Timisoara. The first flight to London Luton will be launched on 27 October and will be followed by Rome and Dortmund in December while services to Paris Beauvais, Milan Bergamo, Venice Treviso, Barcelona and Valencia will start in March 2009 concurrently with the base opening.
