With the ‘88’ Making a Difference Tour, Air Miles successfully achieved cash donations of more than AED10,000 from a sponsored dinner during the tour. Additionally, a Touch Rugby Tournament was held to generate donations for the orphanage for which 88 V Blacks was hailed champion.

We always encourage our partners to participate in our corporate social responsibility initiatives and in this case give hope to orphaned children,” said Dave Battiston, Chief Executive Officer, Air Miles Middle East. “We are glad the event achieved such a positive response, and were thrilled by how enthusiastically the sponsors supported our goal of raising funds for this very worthy cause.”

Other sponsors for the charity events were Sentinel and Middle East Fitness Professional (mefitpro). Sporting equipment packages of new adidas touch tops, rugby balls, cones and sporting bags courtesy of adidas were also provided to both orphanages by mefitpro.
