RTE appoints new Sales Manager in Dubai for its Meeting & Incentives portfolio

Atif Farid Malik has been appointed to the position of Sales Manager for Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) Meeting & Incentives Portfolio, based in Dubai. Atif will be joining RTE on 1st September 2008 and as part of his responsibilities he will actively market, to the region, the meeting and incentives portfolio of shows including GIBTM taking place at ADNEC but also EIBTM in Spain, CIBTM in China and AIME in Australia.

His primary focus will be the Gulf Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (GIBTM) - the leading exhibition dedicated to the Meetings, Incentive Events and Business Travel Industry in the Gulf and wider Middle East region, staged annually in the exciting and developing destination of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE.

Graeme Barnett, Exhibition Director for GIBTM and CIBTM says “I am delighted to be able to make this announcement. Atif will be a great addition to our specialist meetings industry team bringing his strong sales experience and knowledge of the industry in the region acquired over many years.”

As well as speaking 5 languages (including English, Romanian, Moldavian, Urdu, Hindi & Punjabi), Atif is currently studying for an MBA with the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) in Lahore and has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
