Euro Attractions Show
EAS to take place in Amsterdam in 2009
Tuesday, September 30, 2008
European amusement and attractions owners, operators, and suppliers will experience the vibrancy of Amsterdam during the Euro Attractions Show (EAS) in 2009. EAS 2009 - Amsterdam will be held at the Amsterdam RAI International Exhibition and Congress Center, 30 September - 2 October. EAS 2009 - Amsterdam is expected to occupy three halls of RAI, with more than 250 exhibits and 8,000 participants.

Amsterdam RAI is a modern and innovative convention facility just south of Amsterdam's city center and is less than eight minutes from Schiphol airport, one of the most accessible airports in Europe. RAI's amenities include unparalleled hospitality and exhibitor service, an array of restaurants, and the opportunity to rent luxury canal boats, which set sail from a private quay.

Amsterdam is a world-class city rich in both cosmopolitan culture and history. Perfect for exploring by bicycle or boat, the city's canals light up at night and are lined with colorful row houses, countless cafes and clubs, and must-see attractions like the Van Gogh museum and the Anne Frank House. People in the "festival city" are diverse and active in everything from fine and modern art to sporting events. The welcoming nature of the city and its countless offerings draw everyone from families and students to business professionals and world travelers.

"Being in Amsterdam in the fall of 2009 couldn't be better for EAS! Amsterdam is a business-minded city and easily accessible from throughout Europe," stated Mats Wedin, EAS chairman. "The timing of EAS in the fall allows our exhibitors to showcase their new products earlier, and buyers in turn have more time to plan the promotion of these new products in their parks."
