Singapore Changi Airport’s annual I.T. fair -Digital Connection- was officially launched today. The fair is back in its 7th year to entice travellers with exclusive offers on the latest photographic equipment, computers and lifestyle electronic products. Shoppers can also look forward to winning attractive prizes in an instant lucky draw.Digital Connection, specially organised by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) for travellers at Changi Airport, is being held in the Departure Transit Malls of Terminals 1, 2 and 3 till 25 October 2008.

Apart from enjoying savings on the Goods and Services Tax (GST) while shopping in the departure transit malls, tech-savvy shoppers will also be thrilled to learn that the latest gadgets like Apple’s Ipod Nano’s Chromatic range of lifestyle electronics, as well as Samsung’s new and sleek range of digital cameras and camcorders, are being showcased at the fair.

Participating brands like Acer, Casio, Panasonic and Sony Vaio have also packaged special offers available only at Digital Connection. For example, shoppers can purchase a Casio Ex-Z9 digital camera at the special price of S$233, instead of
S$299 at established shops downtown, presenting savings of 22%. With this purchase, shoppers will also be entitled to gifts like a 4GB memory card and packaged freebies that include a mini tripod, camera case, lanyard package, lens cleaning kit and card reader.
