United Airlines’ new Dubai service is set to offer Middle East travellers access to a network of services across the United States.
The service, which is set to start from Dubai on 27 October 2008, will fly non-stop to Washington Dulles, one of United’s five U.S. hubs. From Washington Dulles, customers can then fly onto over 80 destinations across the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and San Francisco. Customers can book by calling 8000 441 5492.
United’s Washington hub offers over 200 daily flights to destinations across the U.S. It is also a key point for many United international flights serving the airport from destinations around the world.
“This new route further strengthens our presence in the Middle East and allows us to take advantage of the growing commerce between the region and the United States,” said Marcel Fuchs, United’s managing director Europe, Africa and the Middle East. “Additionally, this flight adds to our international route network, creating new revenue opportunities and provides customers with a daily service they can rely on.”
With United’s first ever flight to Dubai in October 2008, United’s Washington Dulles hub now will serve 24 international destinations, including five that began operating in the past two years: Beijing, Kuwait, Rio de Janeiro, Rome and Tokyo.
