Development of five Hungarian and one Austrian hotel
Mellow Mood Group keeps expanding
Friday, October 17, 2008
Mellow Mood Group is currently involved in the development of five Hungarian and one Austrian hotel. The five-star Buddha-Bar Hotel Budapest Klotild Palace will open in late 2009 in Budapest's Vaci Street, as the first lifestyle hotel in the Hungarian capital, with 102 rooms. The 4-star Alta Moda Hotel, a Fashion Hotels brand, will offer 114 large rooms, 4 meeting rooms, business centre, fitness and spa in the 5th district's Nador Street from 2009. The Expo Hotel, located next to the Budapest Fair Centre, will be operated under the Congress Hotels brand, with 160 rooms for business travellers and exhibitors; opening is scheduled for 2009.

Two more developments have also started and both will open next year in Budapest's 5th district under the Fashion Hotels brand, in the 4-star category. The 80-room La Prima Fashion Hotel is being built on the corner of Vaci Street and Pesti Barnabas Street, while the Avenue 83 Fashion Hotel is at Vaci utca 83.

The 4-star, 52-room Cosmo Fashion Hotel Vienna close to the Naschmarkt will also be operated by Mellow Mood. Here too, opening is scheduled for next year. This is the group's first hotel project outside Hungary and other hotels are planned in the region, mainly in capitals and important regional centres.

Poll
The imminent privatization of Olympic Airlines is expected to change the fate of this debt-laden airline. What do you think the new owner should do in regard to the brand name of the Greek national flag carrier?.

Keep “Olympic Airlines” as the name of the company as it remains a strong brand.

The company should keep “Olympic” as an element of its name but refresh the brand (e.g. “New Olympic Airlines”).

The airline should drop “Olympic” from its name. This brand has lost its value and isn’t relevant to the market anymore.
