New boutique hotel in Barrio Norte, Argentina Invest Property Group will invest US$ 10 million in the construction of a boutique hotel in Barrio Norte. The New York based firm announced the beginning of construction of Algodon Mansion, a ten room boutique hotel, which will be inaugurated in 2009. It will have a restaurant, a bar and a spa. Also, British Airways recently began daily flights from Buenos Aires to London with a layover in Sao Pablo, thus increasing its frequency from 4 to 7 weekly flights as part of its Latin American expansion strategy.

Sol Melia to open Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real (Republic Dominica) Sol Melia Vacation Club (SMVC) will open a new project, The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana by the end of the year. It will have 190 two-story cabanas with one or two ultramodern rooms, with exotic Balinese beds, private jacuzzis and direct access to the pool. It will offer spa treatments, fitness programs, a golf course, a variety of gourmet restaurants, a casino and nightlife entertainment, among other facilities.

Cusco among the most recommended destinations Readers of the North American publication Conde Nast Traveler placed the city of Cusco in 6th place among the most recommended destinations to visit in the Americas. First place is held by Buenos Aires, followed by the Canadian cities of Vancouver and Quebec.
