• Supervise all hotel operated departments, and department heads, including Director, Rooms Dept., and Director, Food & Beverage Dept.;
• Coordinate with hotel accounting activities, including preparation of daily flash reports, and monthly and annual financial reports on hotel operations, in association with parent company Director, Hotel Accounting;
• Supervise sales and marketing activities of hotel, including supervision of Director, Sales & Marketing;
• Manage all employee matters, including union collection matters;
• Supervise hotel governmental and legal reporting requirements;
• Prepare daily “flash” reports to Owner;
• Represent the hotel in community and media activities;
• Supervise installation and training of new hotel management software;
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Manage all hotel pre-opening matters for newly-renovated and/or newly-constructed hotel facilities;
• Manage all employee training activities;
• Manage all recruiting activities for new employees;
• Assist Owner’s Development Project team in coordinating on-site contractor, subcontractor, and vendor activities;
• Manage government reporting requirements for Owner and Hotel legal entities;
• Manage Owner banking relationships including wire transfers; and
• Monitor legal matters of the company in cooperation with Owner’s staff.
