The Oberoi Group hotel, Trident, which was under terrorist siege for nearly two days last week, would be up and running again in the next two weeks. "We have been told by the authorities that the hotel (Trident) will be reopened in 10-12 days," a Trident staff told PTI here.
The staff had attended the employees' meet, which was presided by group Chairman, P R S Oberoi, yesterday at the hotel. There was not much damage to Trident unlike the Oberoi where armed terrorists wreaked havoc for more than 24 hours, the staff said. Repair work is already being undertaken and likely to be completed soon, the staff said.
The meet convened by Oberoi was aimed at discussing the situation in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on Trident and Oberoi Hotel beginning November 26 and lasting over two days. Thirty two persons, including 10 hotel staff and three foreigners, were killed in the attack.
